In one of his first assignments as Ambassador of Sierra Leone to the Republic of Korea, Amb Omrie Golley has paid a courtesy call on the Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors, Nigerian Ambassador to Korea HE Desmond Akawor.
He was warmly welcomed to Seoul on behalf of the African Group of Ambassadors stationed there , and wished a happy tenure of office in Korea.According to the Dean..HE President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma and the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone had made a wise and prudent move in establishing a Mission in Korea, a country he described as the ‘hidden jewel of Asia. At the end of the courtesy call both Ambassadors presented small gifts of welcome to each other.
Amb. GOLLEY is also expected to do his Presentation of Credentials ceremony on Monday next week to the South Korean President
