Abu Abu’s Inciting tirade Against Temnes must inspire Northerners to unite Under the APC

Abu Abu’s Inciting Rants Against Temne Tribe Must Spur Northerners to Unite Under the APC

By Abu Shaw in London (14/11/2023)

Disgusting to hear the violent-oriented and illegal SLPP minister called Abu Abu Koroma insulting and degrading the Temne people in Sierra Leone.

For a so-called Temne man Abu Abu Koroma to have the effrontery to demean his own tribe is even more disgusting and unforgiving. The Temne people and all peace-loving Sierra Leoneans are visibly unhappy after Abu Abu Koroma, the good-for-nothing SLPP Resident Minister North publicly insulted the Temne tribe by describing them as ‘uncivilised’ but he praised the Mendes as ‘civilised’. If only the northerners would unite like the southeasterners, there would be everlasting unity, peace and progress in the northwest and Sierra Leone in general. But it is sad to see northwesterners undermining one another within and without the APC party while the SLPP thugs in the southeast are firmly united-ever they stand behind their failed SLPP party. But with the knives out for the APC  leader Dr Samura Kamara, the likes of Abu Abu will stay longer. (Photo: Abu Abu is planted in the north to kill and provoke).

So-called because many northerners think the idiot Abu Abu Koroma is not a real Temne man. Whatever his tribe, in the video that went viral, Abu Abu was addressing a group of people in Bo City, in southern Sierra Leone (stronghold of the illegal ruling SLPP party) where he intentionally insulted the Temne people, an inciting statement that has the propensity to cause a bloody uprising in the country. But with the knives out for Dr Samura, blokes like Abu Abu would stay in power.

“I have decided to build my house in Bo rather than in Makeni because the Temne people are not civilised. I also moved my family to Bo from Makeni for the same reasons,” Abu Abu boasted on video. Since the outbursts, many Temne people (the largest tribe in Sierra Leone) have expressed disgust and venom against Abu Abu’s dangerous rants. Calls for revenge against Abu Abu are gaining momentum and the urge for the equally violent-oriented SLPP regime of illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio to take action against the Minister Abu Abu is also getting louder. But with the knives out for Dr Samura, killers like Abu Abu would stay longer. (Photo: Northwesterners must unite for APC to succeed).

Abu Abu Koroma is the Resident Minister of North and has been since 2018 when the despotic Maada Bio’s SLPP/Paopa regime succeeded President Ernest Koroma of the APC government. Such dangerous rants from Abu Abu are not new in Sierra Leone politics. In 2020, this same idiotic Abu Abu openly threatened to kill Makeni youths who decided to protest against the Bio presidency. A few days later, dozens of protesting youths were killed for simply protesting for a standby power generator. But with the knives out for Dr Samura, idiots like Abu Abu would stay in power.

Abu Abu’s recent tirade against the Temne people is a wake-up call for northwesterners to unite solidly behind the main opposition APC party. Unfortunately, there are many prominent politicians from the north and non-politicians who are hell-bent on undermining their own brothers and sisters for selfish political purposes, a move that is benefitting the barbaric SLPP regime of Maada Bio from the southeast. “I strongly believe, it is time for all northerners to bury their differences and unite under the APC banner for the good of Sierra Leone to stop the madman called Maada Bio from staying any longer,” a keen political observer said. But with the knives out for the APC leader,  murderers like Abu Abu would stay in power longer.

Dangerous Utterance: Resident Minister, Northeast Abu Abu is Supported by Maada Bio

By a press release (15/11/2023)

The attention of this medium has been drawn to frightening video footage capturing the SLPP Resident Minister North-East Abu-Abu Abdulai Koroma.

Maada Bio is supporting Abu Abu Koroma in all his dangerous moves so far. These footage are described by pundits as the most unfortunate, divisive, and unpardonable content of this era. The video does not only depict tribalistic tendencies but proliferated hate messages with grudges, malice and personal vendetta. Tracing the minister’s wordings in the video footage, he was proud to say: “One of de main reason way are choose for build na Bo, are nor build na Makeni, na because, Temne man nor civilize, way you kam to de Mende man, na den civilize.” (Photo: Killer SLPP Minister Abu Abu).

He stated, proudly.   Expert opinion viewed this statement as the most unthinkable comment of this generation. This utterance does not only have the latitude to stimulate tribal conflict but contravenes the President’s determination to uphold the country’s peaceful co-existence that is predicated on the mantra of tribal diversity, unity and cohesion. Peace campaigners saw these spoken words as a threat to national peace, especially from a political figure who is performing presidential representation in the territory he is administering, and the same people he is governing.

These wordings will compromise progressive reforms to accommodate cultural diversity; stifle the room for tolerance; and widen the space for more division at regional, sectional, and tribal levels. Moving forward, he was also bold to say: we get a lot of Temne people way get a house, but you nor one day yeri say den don burn den houses; but I every day are dae under threat, na e make are decide for move me family kan na Bo.” He noted at the maiden part of his expression. This statement from the Resident Minister leaves room for more questions than answers: where has he been?, how many political conflicts were recorded from the North-East?

What’s his commitment to blurring the divide? what’s the hope of the people? must this be viewed as a neglect of service delivery?, how will potential visitors (strangers), perceive this message?  Speaking from the people’s perspective, the Resident Minister must be immediately fired from duty, because of the fury that surrounds his utterances. The people are optimistic about the President’s call to national peace, thereby viewing this matter as a testament to the President’s determination. This is an attempt to ignite a war, deepen hate, and ravage the country’s fragile stability to a halt. Tap on the link, and follow Connect With Salone Media’s Facebook Page for the full video.
