The composition of the Cross -Party Tripartite Committee has come under strong criticism from opposition APC members .
During the launching of the committee at State House yesterday, APC leader Dr. Samura Kamara said, among many things that “not all fights require guns, violence, knives, broken bottles, mammy curse, plenty spin and political masking and hypocrisy. Good fights require only wisdom, tolerance, mutual respect and patriotism. ” For his part, President Maada Bio asserted that “Political dialogue is never a sign of weakness as some may want to perceive it; rather, it is a symbol of our commitment to peace and national cohesion.”
Before the launching however, the opposition APC strongly protested against the addition of civil society organizations as it was not part of the original arrangement.

Dear Comrade Lansana Dumbuya
I greet you in the name of Allah and the struggles of our people including those slaughtered in the course of defending our democracy.
I want to draw your attention to the constitution of members of the cross party committee to review our systems and processes. I see Institute of Governance Reform(IGR) whose Executive Director, Andrew Lavalie is one of the key architects of our current political quagmire listed as one of the broad base stakeholders.
If you could recall, Andrew Lavalie , before the elections, was all over the place propagating a fake and fictitious survey that put Maada Bio ahead of Dr Samura Kamara with a 56%. That 56% was what Maada Bio ended up scoring in the elections.
Mr Secretary General, I want you to reject the nomination of IGR with all seriousness. IGR is purposely created to promote the ideals of the SLPP and to defend same. The IGR has created a plethora of bottlenecks in the governace architecture of Sierra Leone by positing fake and SLPP favoured surveys.
Sir the composition of the APC representation is a bit flawed as there is no woman amongst those appointed even though we have a barrage of competent women in the party. I want to appeal with respect for you to replace Prince with either Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr or Mariama Lowe Bangura , Womens’ Congress President.
In the struggle of the APC , there is victory .
