PRESS RELEASE ON THE HEALTH STATUS OF THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, HON. MINKAILU MANSARAY
The All Peoples Congress (APC) wishes to inform the general membership of the party and the wider public that our esteemed National Chairman, Honorable Minkailu Mansaray, is currently in India undergoing a routine medical check-up and receiving treatment. We are pleased to report that he is responding very well to treatment and remains in high spirits.
Contrary to a wave of malicious rumours and irresponsible propaganda being circulated by ill- intentioned individuals, we categorically state that the National Chairman is not terminally ill, neither has he passed away. These fabricated claims are entirely false, baseless, and deliberately designed to sow confusion, fear, and division within the party.
Before his departure and since his arrival in India, the Chairman has been in consistent communication with members of the party leadership, including the Deputy National Chairman who is currently managing the duties of the chairmen.
It is deeply unfortunate that certain individuals, who have repeatedly failed in their attempts to discredit the APC leadership, have now resorted to extreme and desperate measures including spreading fake news about the health of our chairman. These acts reflect not only the moral bankruptcy of their authors but also their disregard for human decency and dignity.
Let it be known that Hon. Minkailu Mansaray is a loyal and dedicated servant of the APC who has served this party from his days in the Youth League to the highest leadership level. He has made countless sacrifices in service to the party and the people of Sierra Leone. To now see him being targeted with such reckless and shameful lies is not only disheartening but also a betrayal of the values we uphold as a party.
We encourage all members of the APC and the general public to ignore these rumors and to rely solely on official communications from the party’s National Secretariat. We remain committed to providing timely, transparent, and accurate updates as needed.
