APC seeks rejuvenation and strategies at Banjul Retreat in December

APC, VALIANT AND DAUNTLESS , WILL REJUVENATE AND STRATEGIZE AT MAJOR RETREAT IN THE GAMBIA IN DECEMBER

By Kabs Kanu

“The All People’s Congress ( APC ) will never die. The APC will reign forever:” , one of the leading icons of the party, the Diaspora 6th Region Chairman, Mr Alfred Kebbie Sesay, declared last week.

In fact, it is when the party is thought to be mired in the slough that it is able to demonstrate its resilience, fighting power and durability. This message will be rung loud and clear once again between December 19 and 22 when the APC members from all over the world congregate in the Gambia for a huge retreat to rejuvenate and strategize the way forward.

People, sitting down thinking the worst and expecting the APC to disintegrate and remain in opposition any further are already disappointed by the steel and passion the party is still continuing to demonstrate with the many big Chaper Inauguration ceremonies the APC- USA Branch has been staging all over the Continental USA and the Women”s Congress Retreat recently at the APC Headquarters in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

One of the major achievements that the APC hopes will emerge from the retreat in the Gambia is the sealing up of the frictions that have haunted the party lately. “We are determined to reconcile and move our party forward and back to governance, ” Mr. Alfred Kebbie Sesay reiterated.

APC alagbas have been stating that the activities of the party will continue and the APC will continue to pursue both electoral justice and strategies to ensure that the party takes back governance in Sierra Leone.

The APC is therefore inviting members from all over the world and lovers of Sierra Leone to the Gambia on December 19 to 22 to take part in the Retreat to strategize the future of Sierra Leone.

COCORIOKO NEWSPAPER will bring you more details during the coming weeks and interviews and tidbits with leading APC functionaries.
