A notorious SLPP thug , Aloysious Deen Tarawallie, also known as Arata, who terrorized citizens on behalf of the Maada Bio government, was brutally knifed to death in Freetown yesterday. The circumstances of his death remained sketchy but some reports alleged that Arata was murdered by a mob.
Many people opined on social media that the nature of Arata’s sad end should send a warning to our youths to stop being the errand boys of thuggery and violence to our politicians. They said that Arata was used by politicians to commit many human rights offences in the name of politics but these politicians abandoned him and now he had been violently killed as he did to others.
The Sierra Leone Police, not mentioning Arata’s name, released a statement condemning the upsurge of mob justice in the country.
