The attack led to the stabbing and wounding of at least two APC supporters. One of the victims could be seen in our photo here, back turned and blood streaming from the back of his head, staining his white APC T-shirt . The other could be seen with a deep cut on his head.
The APC Presidential flagbearer at the last elections, Dr. Samura Kamara later visited the APC office to inspect the scene and provide solidarity and moral support to the APC supporters.
Since the SLPP came to power in 2018, this is the third time their supporters have attacked the APC office . The Sierra Leone Police has also attacked the APC office shooting at building while members were inside .
The reasons for this latest attack on the APC office is not known. But last week, rebel members of the APC, called the National Reform Movement ( NRM ) blocked the APC mini-convention in Port Loko , through a high court injunction filed through SLPP Member of Parliament and Lawyer, Gevao.
Today’s clashes forced the U.S. Embassy in Freetown to issue a security alert for Brookfields .

How do you expect investor to invest in such barbaric situation of these two political parties?
*2019 was APC and the police; investors were frightened to invest in sierra leone during that year, we see little or no investor in the whole of 2019 because of political instability…
*2020 again in the first month, we have seen SLPP and APC clashing which may pose serious challenge in the development of the country….
How can we expect investor in such situation?
Sierra Leone needs rebranding or else nothing better will come to us….God help us
