Sources believed to be from Bo have said that there are plans to stage massive demonstrations in the city against the frequent and persistent power cuts which have almost crippled the city. They floated a letter on the internet written to the Police asking for a permit to stage the demonstrations.
However, the letter is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors and this paper is doubting its authenticity, though the story of the blackouts is true. Even if the letter is fake, there have been credible reports from usually-reliable individuals reporting directly from Bo that the electricity situation has gone down the hill. There are persistent blackouts which have raised concerns among the citizens.
