CLEAN ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN GROUP ENGAGES COMMUNITY LEADERS
The Clean Election Campaign has ended a two-day continues dialogue and engagement with community leaders, from the Western Area at Hotel-Five-Ten Kissy in the east end of Freetown. The ongoing exchanges of ideas with power -brokers brought on board youth and women’s leaders to learn about their role in the forthcoming elections.
He said a representative from the National Electoral Commission provided a lecture for discussants on what they are expected of during and after elections.
The Clean Election Campaign Coordinator stated that concerns were raised by participants for an explanation of the electoral guidelines. It could be recalled that Clean Elections Campaign has held similar engagement with Paramount Chiefs in Bo, Kenema and Makeni.
