Former Minister of Trade and Industry and one-time Chief of Staff of the government of former President Ernest Koroma —-Dr. Richard Konteh—- has condemned the Millennium Challenge Corporation ( MCC) of rewarding evil in Sierra Leone.
Dr. Konteh, like many Sierra Leoneans fuming in the social media, believe that the so-called Agreement of National Unity between the ruling SLPP and the opposition APC, on which hinged the approval of the U.S $480 million Compact grant from the United States of America, had not produced any progress and was in fact a subject of lack of consensus and how to deal with contentious issues .
Dr. Konteh, like many Sierra Leone, complained that democracy was under threat in Sierra Leone.
