The latest SIPRI report confirms Guinea’s ambition: we are now among the largest arms buyers in sub-Saharan Africa. This is a strong signal to others!
This success is the result of the patriotic vision of the General of the Army Corps Mamadi Doumbouya President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. Since coming to power, our army has risen in power year after year, regaining its dignity and striking strength.
Our country is a geological scandal coveted for its immense mineral riches. To protect our bauxite, our gold and iron of Simandou, we have an obligation to build the most powerful defense in the subregion under the impetus of the Head of State.
The hour is at total sovereignty. Our resources must continue to finance a modern army: Acquisition of F-16 fighters, high-precision missiles and combat drones has become a top priority to lock down our skies.
Let’s go further with our strategic partners! To secure our coasts and exports, Guinea must aim for major naval power, including offshore warships and, why not, an aircraft carrier.
Defending the integrity of our territory and sovereignty is not an option, it is a national duty. Thank you to the Head of State for this historic rearmament!
