When Ramatu and her fiancee left Freetown over the weekend to travel to Gbonkolenken Cheifdom for a ceremonial wedding, they were all happy and full of life.  They chartered a van from Freetown and travlled the 160 miles to Yele for the ceremony.  But tragedy struck before they got to their destination when their car summesaulted.  The accident left Ramatu with a compoud fracture on her arm while her fiancee suffered  injury on his eye and face.  Though battered and in pain, the couple decided to go ahead with the ceremony.
