President Bio and Health Minister Dr. Austin Demby Launch Buses, SUVs, and Motorbikes to Empower Health Workers Across Sierra Leone

Maada Bio and Minister of Health Dr. Austin Demby commissioned 10 buses for Healthworkers, SUVs for medical superintendents, and several motorbikes for frontline service delivery. The buses will serve Bo, Kenema, Makeni, Port Loko, Kono, and Freetown, ensuring health workers get to work safely and on time. This is not just about transporting workers; rather, it’s about delivering quality healthcare 24/7 in a timely manner.
To enhance long‑term operational effectiveness, a mobile workshop serving as a maintenance vehicle for spare parts was also included.
President Bio’s government has relentlessly sought to improve the healthcare system of this country under the leadership of a very experienced global health expert, Dr. Austin Demby.
