PRESS RELEASE

THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS HEREBY INFORMED THAT FOLLOWING A MEETING HELD AT STATE HOUSE BETWEEN HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT, RELEVANT SECTORAL MINISTERS AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY AND INSURANCE TRUST (NASSIT) HIS EXCELLENCY HAS DECIDED TO EFFECT CHANGES IN THE TOP MANAGEMENT OF THE TRUST.

IN CONSEQUENCE THEREOF, THE FOLLOWING OFFICIALS OF NASSIT ARE RELIEVED OF THEIR DUTIES WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT:

MR. SAMUEL BANGURA, DIRECTOR-GENERAL
MR. GIBRIL SACCOH, DEPUTY DIRECTOR-GENERAL (MEMBERSHIP, FINANCE, SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY)
MR. IDRIS TURAY, DIRECTOR, INVESTMENTS AND PROJECTS

IN THE INTERIM, MR. JOSEPH MANS DEPUTY DIRECTOR-GENERAL (ADMINISTRATION, HUMAN RESOURCES, PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND CUSTOMER SERVICES) WILL HOLD DOWN THE DUTIES OF DIRECTOR-GENERAL UNTIL A SUBSTANTIVE HOLDER OF THE OFFICE IS RECRUITED.
