As part of its corporate social responsibility the Sierra Leone Airport Authority on Thursday 22 May donated the sum of fifty million leones to pay fees for university students that hailed from the community through the Paramount Chief Bai Shebora Segbabereh 111 at a short but very impressive cerenony that took place at the chief’s compound at Rotifunk in Lungi
Speaking to this medium on line from the airport, the Human Resourse Manager , Mr. Gbondo Sesay disclosed that before now the SLAA has also donated 5 Million leones to the chiefdom authority to pay school fees for 20 school -going pupils, a developnent which according to him has been welcomed by the local authorities
The ceremony which was also attended by other local authorities, including the Chiefdom Speaker Pa Komrabia Kamara expressed thanks and appreciation to the management of the SLAA , headed by John Seisay for the gesture describing it as timely. “We will continue to give out our support to the airport authority “, he said admidst pomp and pageantry from the jam packed local court barry
Other emninent personalities from the SLAA that attended the ceremony were the Chief Accointant, Ibrahim Kai Suma, Expenditure Accountant and the Admin Assistant respectively.
