There is another dramatic twist in the standoff between Sierra Leone and the Netherlands over the matter of the convicted cocaine overlord found to be hiding in Sierra Leone, whom the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ) Government of President Maada Bio has been accused by the international media of sheltering .
Though the Netherlands has officially asked the SLPP Government to turn him over nothing has yet been done about it and yesterday the Bio government arrested a Dutch journalist whom they accused of espionage after they allegedly found him recording a documentary in the Freetown Peninsular.
