DOMA WILLIAMS is a rabid Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ) supporter known for causing trouble every year at the UN Dag Hammaksjeold Plaza when supporters of both the ruling SLPP and the opposition All People’s Congress ( APC ) face off at demonstrations during the UN General Assembly.
In 2019: he broke police cordon to encroach on the APC area, got into a scuffle with opponents and when he was pushed, a faked a fall and was lying on the ground screaming “You pushed me ? You pushed me ?” to entice the New York Police to arrest APC supporters for assault he had craftily simulated. When the police came to the scene, they read through his ruse and just dispersed every body and ordered him to get up and return to his column.
Yesterday, because the Concerned Sierra Leoneans did not stage a demonstration, DOMA Williams decided upon a new ploy. He dressed in red as a frustrated APC supporter who was fascinated by what President Bio was doing for Sierra Leone and frustrated with the APC for not acknowledging and appreciating President Bio. He was seen broadcasting himself , claiming to be an indigene from Port Loko District and campaigning for other APC supporters like him to leave the APC and join the SLPP .
The public would have been fooled to believe that a staunch APC supporter from one of the party’s strongholds had become so frustrated that he had joined the SLPP and was inviting others to join him. The only bad news for him was that Cocorioko saw through the fakery and deceit and alerted its readers on Facebook and social media.

THE APC WISH TO ALERT THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THIS SHADY CHARACTER DRESSED IN RED AND PRETENDING TO BE A NORTHERNER AND APC SUPPORTER RALLYING IN NEW YORK TODAY FOR PRESIDENT BIO IS FAKE . HE IS AN IMPERSONATOR . HE IS NEITHER APC NOR A NORTHERNER . HE IS DOMA WILLIAMS OF THE SLPP.
EVERY TIME THEY DEMONSTRATE , SLPP SUPPORTERS IMPERSONATE APC BY WEARING RED AND ALSO USING FAKE APC BANNERS TO GIVE THE FALSE IMPRESSION THAT OUR PARTY MEMBERS JOINED THEM .YOU ALL KNOW SLPP NOW FOR THEIR FAKE POLITICS AND PROPAGANDA . SLPP THRIVEON FAKERY AND PROPAGANDA . I KNOW YOU ALL KNOW THAT ALREADY.THESE ARE THE CRIMINALS UNFORTUNATELY RUNNING OUR COUNTRY TODAY. THEY THRIVE ON DECEIT AND FAKERY.
WHAT A SHAME.
What DOMA Williams did at the UN plaza seemed an innocent political gimmick , but it was serious. It exposed the SLPP ‘s main political strategy— Deceit, fakery and propaganda. Many times, the SLPP depend on undercover tricks, deceit, impersonation, doctoring photos and documents and engaging in spectacular propaganda to fool Sierra Leoneans.
The issue was given colorful credence yesterday when SLPP President, Julius Maada Bio, delivered a statement at the UN General Assembly that was full of lies and deceit. See our editorial.
