There are very disturbing reports and photos of thuggery by supporters of President Maada Bio, who today attacked opposition members campaigning for their party at Sierra Rutile and left the Southern Region Campaign Chairman of the APC, Hon. Momodu Elongima Maligi,  bathed in blood.
The international community has to do whatever it takes to rein in on SLPPÂ supporters before they plunge Sierra Leone into another war.
According to reports received, APCÂ supporters were busy campaigning at Rutile when they were attacked by SLPPÂ thugs . Mr. Maligi and many APCÂ supporters were injured in the blind attack.
If you listen keenly to rabid SLPPÂ supporters on social media, they have vowed that the APCÂ will not be allowed to campaign anywhere in the Southeast, which they consider their exclusive domain.
There have been photos and videos of SLPPÂ supporters tearing down and trampling on campaign posters and banners posted by the APC in different parts of the Southeast.
The saddest part of these atrocities is the silence of the SLPP Government led by President Maada Bio . Neither the Police nor officials of the security sector condemn these atrocities in Sierra Leone, which are becoming one too many.
