President Maada Bio, who already has a fleet of expensive vehicles in his often mile- long motorcade that blocks traffic and brings the city to a standstill whenever he is passing, has shown his extravagant , larvish and sumptuous taste for material things by buying a private mercedes Benz deluxe costing well over U.S $ 200, 000 .
Bio has the conscienceless gumption to purchase such an expensive limousine for his private use while poverty is raging in Sierra Leone and families can no longer afford one square meal a day , with the prohibitive cost of the staple food, rice, approaching Le 1, 000, 000 a bag.
Bio, who indeed has no conscience, was driven this weekend into Bo Government Secondary School , where the Old Bo Boys Asoociation ( OBBA) are having their annual celebrations , when his wife, Fatima Bio had already been spotted being driven in a 2023 Mercedes Benz G Wagon SUV costing over $US140,000 for the 2023 voters registration.
The Bio couple are flashing their exorbitant taste for luxury vehicles while the people of Sierra Leone are suffering and facing excruciating socioeconomic difficulties, with blackouts ( No electricity), no pipe-borne water, ever-escalating food prices, premature deaths due to poor health care delivery, late salaries , children being put out of school because their parents cannot afford to pay their fees; frustrated youths now hooked on the killer kush drug out of disenchantment and futility.

If it’s govt owned,then our govt is irresponsible for forking out $200K to buy a Maybach when our mechanics at home can not repair it,even our petrol is substandard for a Maybach….it’s just wasteful & uncalled for lifestyle.His wannabe celebrity wife is a reason for all this.

is riding around town in a Mercedes Mayback which prize’s tag can finance a whole year’s Sierra Leone budget ? I strongly believe that, President Bio can’t afford this car from is earned income.
