That Freetown tragedy : What really happened to the two toddlers found dead in parked car at school compound ?

Freetown is still  in the throes of sadness and tragedy for the  two innocent kids found dead in a parked vehicle in  compound of the National Pentecostal School  in the city. A third child discovered with the two was  in a critical condition.

The discovery of the children led to riots around the school’s vicinity at Mendes Street as Police had to fire teargas to disperse angry crowds that had stormed the school compound.

At the time, the speculation was that the kids were killed by unknown people and dumped in the parked vehicle.

There was unease in the capital the whole week as all kinds of speculations broke out. Some people said it was ritual murder by politicians, thoughts parts were not missing from the dead kids.

A medical report that the children died of suffocation seems to have  calmed the rising tensions and placed to rest the many speculations and suspicions—At least for now. But questions are still being asked by residents of Freetown .

heartbreaking discovery of three children two boys and one girl inside the compound of the National Pentecostal School at Fort Street Freetown.

On March 18 2025, as usual, caring mothers sent their children to school, including a boy named Yusuf and two other children whose names are yet to be confirmed by BlogPulse. However, the routine day took a tragic turn when one mother arrived at noon to pick up her son, only to find him missing. Despite frantic searches, the children were nowhere to be found.

Hours of distress turned into devastation when the families received a shocking call around 12:30 a.m. An unidentified body had been discovered in the school compound. Rushing to the scene, relatives and neighbors were confronted with a horrifying reality three children were found under mysterious circumstances.

Two of the children were confirmed dead on the spot, while the third, a little girl, was severely injured and is now battling for her life. Witnesses claim she showed signs of severe abuse, intensifying the anguish and outrage among community members.

As news spread, emotions ran high. The grieving parents and furious residents demanded immediate answers from both the school and the authorities. Protests erupted in Yusuf’s neighborhood, with residents calling for justice.

In an effort to control the escalating situation, police intervened and used tear gas to disperse the crowds. Despite the chaos, the community remains steadfast in seeking justice for the innocent children.

As investigations continue, the parents mourn their tragic loss, awaiting answers that could explain how such a devastating incident occurred within a school compound.

My heart goes out to the families. I hope and Pray in this holy month of Ramadan and lent the Almighty will give them the strength to overcome their grief and they will not be disappointed by the system.
