In Sierra Leone’s modern political history, few moments have been as defining as this one. The All People’s Congress (APC) stands not at a mere junction—but at a critical national crossroad. The choice before APC party is not one of personal preference or sentiment—it is one of political survival.

At the just-concluded SLPP National Delegates Conference, the ruling party unveiled its next generation of leaders. These are not politicians driven by ideas, progress, or unity. No. These are individuals hardened by opposition to the APC, animated by a singular goal: stop the APC at all costs. Their confidence, tactics, and inflammatory rhetoric signal a party already positioning for ruthless electoral warfare, not a fair democratic contest.

The 2028 General Election will not be politics as usual.
It will be a battleground for APC’s future and legacy—a test of APC party’s strength, vision, and ability to hold the line beyond a single victory. For even a win in 2028 is not enough if APC party cannot sustain governance through 2032 and beyond.

The Stakes: Ten Years of APC Governance or Political Oblivion

If the APC party fumble 2028, APC delay their return to governance.
If APC lose 2032, APC lose the people’s trust.
If APC fall back into opposition, APC lose the country’s future.

This is why APC party must rise with one voice and make hard but necessary decisions. The APC must not be built on weak compromises, factional ambitions, or political experiments. APC must choose proven leaders, guided by courage, discipline, and strategic clarity.

The Leadership APC Need:

✅ Politically Experienced – Who have walked through fire and returned stronger.
✅ Politically Strategic – Who can see beyond popularity to long-term power.
✅ Politically Tactical – Who move silently but strike effectively.
✅ Politically Mature – Who do not react with emotion, but respon
