U.S government partners with government to double access to electricity in Sierra Leone

A U.S. government-led partnership, Power Africa harnesses the collective resources of public and private sectors to double access to electricity in sub-Saharan Africa.

DFC is one of 12 U.S. government agencies implementing Power Africa activities, bringing to bear a wide range of tools and resources to support the power sector across sub-Saharan Africa.

Through Power Africa, DFC provides financing and insurance to private companies developing energy projects in sub-Saharan Africa. Milele Energy is one of over 180 Power Africa private sector partners.
