The Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe, Dr Ismail ibn Musa Menk this morning, Friday 22 September 2017, paid a courtesy call on President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma at State House in Freetown.
Welcoming the international Muslim scholar, President Koroma said the visit of Dr Mufti Menk to Sierra Leone is highly appreciable as he has come to not only give the people of this country courage but also give them hope of brighter future. He said Sierra Leone is an epitome of religious tolerance in the world, saying that the Muslim community is anxiously looking forward to hearing from the great scholar.
Dr Mufti Menk expressed greater satisfaction for coming to Sierra Leone, saying that his purpose of visit is to inspire Sierra Leoneans to be steadfast and work hard on prayer for peace, growth and serenity of the country for the whole of the night.
