Kamarainba To Spend Independence Day And Ramadan In Prison.*
Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray will perform his fasting during Ramadan in Prison. He will also spend 60th Independence Anniversary at the Pademba Road Prison.
Kamarainba attended his scheduled court today, Wednesday 14th April, 2021. Apparently, the State Prosecutor, Umu Summary was not in court today. She had promised during the last court sitting on 1st April that she will respond to the *No Case Submission* on Tuesday 6th April, 2021. She asked the Judge to adjourned the matter for today 14th April, 2021.
The State Prosecutor did not show up in court today and her response was not submitted.
Both Lawyers for the defense, S.M Konteh and J.M Jengo were in court today, 14th April.
Lawyer J.M Jengo asked for the shortest possible date for an adjournment. The Judge, Samuel O. Taylor gave an adjourned date in two (2) weeks, 28th April, 2021.
*Mr. Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has spent nine (9) months in detention without regards to his human right and constitutional right to a bail.* *Justice S. O Taylor has refused to grant bail to enable medical treatment and surgery for Kamarainba Mansaray.*
Kamarainba’s health condition continues to deteriorate in Prison. Three (3) respectable medical doctors Dr, Tejan, Dr Cauker and Dr Kamara have recommended prostatic surgery for him. All medical paperwork and referrals are in place as verified, but the Judge continues to refuse to grant bail to Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray without giving any reason.
I hard from the grapevine today in court that Kamarainba will be in prison until after the General and Presidential Elections in 2023.
The informat further stated to me that Justice Samuel O. Taylor does not have the capacity to grant bail and he was given directives by the Chief Justice to do what is needed to keep Kamarainba in prison. The informat is very close to Deputy Justice Minister, Umaru Napoleon Koroma who also serves as Secretary General to the ruling SLPP. According to the informat, Umaru Napoleon Koroma is the middle man and has been given directives to the Judge and the Chief Justice.
Umaru Napoleon Koroma is the brain behind Kamarainba’s incarceration and detention and he is boosting about it in political and social gatherings.
