INTERNATIONAL ELECTIONS MONITORING GROUP WIMAGE GROWS IN INTERNATIONAL STATURE, GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS AND ENGAGEMENTS .

The international elections observer and monitoring group, WOMEN IN ELECTIONS AUDITING AND MONITORING GLOBALLY ( WIMAGE ) has grown exponentially and gathered more international stature and momentum.
As WIMAGE prepares for another extensive assignment to monitor the forthcoming elections in Nigeria , the organization has established global partnerships with the WOMEN’S FORUM in Nigeria and the GLOBAL PEACE MOVEMENT INTERNATIONAL .
The Women’s Forum is a combination of women’s organizations in Nigeria devoted to the promotion of women’s rights, global good governance, human rights and constitutional leadership.
The Global Peace Movement International is a UK-based international human rights, good governance and anti- corruption non -governmental organization. As the name suggests, the organization is geared towards the propagation and promotion of respect for fundamental human rights , lawful , equitable, transparent and progressive governance and sociopolitical and economic probity in the world.
Working with these two important and eloquent advocacy and monitoring groups has given WIMAGE more international grip and presence that will help it achieve its goals and aspirations– And more strategic partnerships are expected.
The Chair of WIMAGE, Madam Khadija Sesay, has said that the establishment of these strategic partnerships and engagements with other like- minded organization around the world is consistent with the founding principles , values and goals of WIMAGE. She commended both organizations for their cooperation and working partnerships with WIMAGE, which will ensure efficient and thorough elections auditing and monitoring not only in Nigeria and Africa but other parts of the world.
As the Nigerian assignment looms, the Public Relations Department will be giving you regular updates of its elections monitoring and observation activities in the country.
The forthcoming elections in Nigeria is a major event as sundry candidates aspire for leadership in Africa’s most populous nation.
