Criminal Samura & APC Crooks Betray Voters as Dialogue Gives Bio Green Light to Kill More People

Yesterday, the so-called Dialogue ended in disappointment after the Mediators deliberately neglected democracy for autocracy and mayhem.
Otherwise, the Mediating Team would have listened to the complaint made by the main opposition APC party and by extension the endless cries of the majority of Sierra Leoneans who were publicly robbed of their mandates before, during, and after the chaotic June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections. The Mediating Team comprising of ECOWAS, AU, Commonwealth, and others instead turned a blind eye to decency, and honesty by endorsing power to an unfit President Julius Maada Bio who clearly stole the June 24 elections. Such undemocratic moves therefore undermine the credibility, transparency, and accountability, the hallmark of free and, fair elections. The people of Sierra Leoneans are crying as a consequence of yesterday’s conclusion of the 3-day Dialogue at the Bintumani Hotel Aberdeen in Freetown. The APC leader Dr Samura Kamara and the entire APC hierarchy should hang their heads in shame for betraying the voters after Samura agreed to sign the Dialogue Communiqué that did not reflect the will of the people who voted overwhelmingly for the APC party in June. Seeing Dr Samura Kamara – a man whom the majority of the electorate had total confidence in – happily signing the so-called Dialogue Communiqué, was the last straw that broke the optimism of a brighter future for Sierra Leoneans in and outside the country. Citizens had hoped to see a leader like Samura whom they thought would stand up for them thick and thin in these trying times, only to end up becoming the biggest traitor and disappointment in the APC party’s history. What Dr Samura Kamara did last night to jointly sign the Dialogue Communiqué with the rogue SLPP representative David Sengeh amid applause from the Mediating Team and the SLPP officials was surreal, to say the least. It is likened to a sucker punch that sends the innocent Sierra Leone voters to the canvass with bleeding noses and unable to recover. That signature is indicative of the long-held views that Dr Samura Kamara has sold out the people to Maada Bio for his own personal aggrandisement. King of social media Adebayor, real name Mr William Kamara based in Holland, predicted this ‘Sell Out’ story a few weeks ago but many people did not believe him. But last night, his prediction came true and now every electorate is aware that Dr Samura Kamara and his APC colleagues in the hierarchy are traitors unworthy of all decency and credibility. Why aid and abet killer Maada Bio to retain power after all the assassination plots against Dr Samura Kamara and the extra-judicial killings of so many innocent Sierra Leoneans? Since 2018, when Maada took power from Ernest Bai Koroma, Sierra Leone has never seen the light of day. No civil liberties, no free speech, arbitrary arrests and detentions of critics rampant, not to mention the numerous killings of critical minds including the late APC social media activist Evangelist Samson, real name Mr Hassan Dumbuya. Yet, the Mediating Team witnessed a Communiqué that failed to mention human rights violations against innocent citizens under Maada Bio’s brutal SLPP regime, let alone talk about justice for those summarily murdered. No wonder, after the conclusion of the so-called Dialogue, organised by the SLPP Peace and Reconciliation Commission, most Sierra Leoneans in and outside Sierra Leone felt disappointed and betrayed by the politicians whose only interests lie in their own selfishness and greed for power at the detriment of the masses. “God go punish Dr Samura Kamara and all the bad politicians who continue to betray Sierra Leoneans,” some angry citizens in Freetown told the Organiser newspaper last night shortly after the so-called Dialogue Communiqué was signed. The only consolation in the Communique is the mention of the release of all political prisoners arrested during the various protests.
