Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Guinea Questioned Over Cocaine found in his car!
Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Guinea who is also the ruling SLPP party’s Kambia District Chairman, Alimamy Hassan Bangura, has been questioned after his driver was caught with almost 400 kg of cocaine plus $100,000 in cash inside the Ambassador’s official vehicle. The driver and one other person have been detained.
Sources suggest the drugs may be linked to senior figures in Sierra Leone’s government.
Meanwhile, the Sierra Leonean government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is yet to react on the issue.
However, reports indicate that some top officials are discreetly working to manage this diplomatic embarrassment. #SierraLeone
