APC Secures Release of Detained Labor Leaders
The All Peoples Congress Party wishes to inform the general public that representatives of the Party, led by the National Secretary General Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh, today Saturday December 15, 2018 visited detained labour leaders at the CID headquaters.
The delegation which included the National Publicity Secretary Cornelius Deveaux, the Deputy National Organizing Secretaries I &II Karamoh Kabba and Moijueh Kai Kai, respectively, also visited the office of the Sierra Leone Labor Congress and Central Police Station where they spoke with the Crime Officer in charge of investigating allegations of disorderly and riotous conduct levied against the detained leaders of the Sierra Leone Labor Congress including the newly elected president of the Sierra Leone Bike Riders Union.
The Party further informs the public that consequent of the visit, the Sierra Leone Police invited the National Secretary General, Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh, to bail the detained labor leaders.
After fulfilling the bail requirements, all detained persons have this night been released from detention.
