Take it all around. It is not only opposition forces that are discontented and disappointed with the disheartening leadership of President Maada Bio. A thorough journey through social media demonstrate that even hard-core supporters of President Bio are fuming because Bio has abandoned his political base and his promises .
Only sycophants, capetbaggers, lackeys, puppets, bootlickers, gravy- seekers and gobblers , parasitic brown- nosers, scoundrels with green -tainted glasses , knaves and unpatriotic and dishonest , good- for- nothing citizens continue to defend the indefensible in Sierra Leone.
But now, serious, sincere, honest and patriotic Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ) supporters have started making their voices heard that President Maada Bio is a colossal failure —perhaps the most failed President in the chequered history of our country.
Bio has failed so badly that he has angered even his own supporters who have a sense of frustration that he has abandoned and turned his back on his own die- hard supporters who risked everything and expended their precious sweat to help bring him to power.
Just listen to some SLPP supporters in the social media. The SL News Blog, belonging to a Southeasterner and SLPP supporters complained at Facebook :
“Despite the rising economy and significant infrastructure investments spearheaded by Macky Sall, his party is ousted from office. These examples demonstrate that a party’s ability to keep power extends beyond large-scale projects and other advancements. A lesson for the SLPP government. Some party members act as if there will never be another election. Unfortunately, the Senegal example may not be replicated in Sierra Leone since the opposing force is disorganised, quirky, and has engaged in pointless tribalism against persons from the South and East. The SLPP must carefully reconsider its priorities; it is not just about energy, good roads, bridges, or feed salons. However, in order to ensure continuation of governance, your ardent followers must be paid attention to. People nor happy, we all !!!”
His disenchantment with his party is supported by many other ardent followers of Bio and the SLPP : The two most prominent issues SLPP supporters are stressing are that Maada Bio has failed his own people who helped bring him to power and he has forgotten his campaign promises to the nation. Their views, which we have meticulously laid out below, say it all. We have been right all along that helping Maada Bio to lay hands on power in Sierra Leone was the biggest mistake made by Sierra Leoneans.
Maada Bio does not care for anybody or the welfare of his people or the nation. It is all about him, his wife, Fatima Bio, children and his cronies. It is all about feeding himself fat and catering to the interests of his cronies. It is all about feathering his own nests. It is all about perpetuating himself in power and running roughshod over the very weak opposition . COCORIOKO also agrees with SLPP supporters that it is the failed and moribund opposition that is keeping Bio and the SLPP in power.

Speaking the truth can’t take that away from me being an SLPP, this country is tediously tough and this is not the kind of thing I was expecting from my party. Actually I am not anticipating for an individual benefit but if this country is moving in the right trajectory we all will benefit.

The road to Matru via Tihun is still not done. No body cares. Everyday they award contracts to contractors but little or no work seen. Keep it up bro. This is the difference between APC and SLPP followers .
The current regime is not treating its ardent grassroot supporters with seriously that they deserve. But we will teach them lessons pretty soon. “Yes na me tok am” he that is down need fear no fall.
There is every possibility that the SLPP is going to lose power in 2028. Most of the strongest politicians have been abandoned. Only fresh and young guys are in control.
This is the reality. The youths have been destroyed by krush. The hardship is getting worse day by day. The party structure is not thinking of winning the next election. From what I see, they are doing everything possible to undermine the very party that put them in power.
Well said my bro. Some of us who laid our lives for this party has NEVER yeild any devidence from them. My name was written in a black book when I was working at MOD just because of this party and also because I am from Bonthe island. Nobody consider me. I am glad I was gainfully employed by Pa Kabba of blessed memory.. My father went to jail in the 70s just because of SLPP and he never benefited from this party till he died. I am not happy my bro.
This government hasn’t learnt from the mistakes of the late pa kabba’s and Ernest Koroma’s administration, respectively. You can’t underrate the political sovereignty of the ordinary people. They are the source of all legitimate political power. Their effective and efficient actions in one general election would change a whole self-made powerful government, and its elitist class can easily become ordinary citizens.
I just hope the opposition will move beyond their hate tribal messages and bigotry to note that no party can win a general election on divisiveness. The rickety functionalities of the opposition are making specific sects to treat us for granted. By his grace, 2028 elections, I will be actively involved in the national politics of our country for the first time. The purpose of this is to expose the wrongs in the corridors of our political landscape for decades. I can’t be fulfilled if I don’t satisfy that political instinct in me.

Bio do not believe in Democracy . He is just going to lie to the so call students who don’t know him as much as we do . All Bio is doing flying around the world nonstop wasting Sierra Leone taxpayers money when the people are suffering back home.
