The West End Brookfields outskirts of Freetown was on fire today as a few hundreds of demonstrators massed around the headquarters of the opposition All People’s Congress ( APC ) where party leadets were meeting with international stakeholdets and moral guarantors of the Agreement of National Unity and protested for their stolen votes and mandate in defiance of President Maada Bio and his wonton macoutes ( Thuggish Police and Army ) .
The stakeholders and guarantors are in Sierra Leone to expedite the implementation of the 84 recommendations of the cross party Tripartite Committee, which was set up to resolve the problems with the 2023 general elections, which international elections observers and international stakeholders widely condemned for being rigged in broad daylight by President Maada Bio.
The police had warned in a public statement yesterday against any assembly at the APC office, after opposition activists on social media loudly called on supporters to storm the party office to demonstrate their disagreement and disenchantment with the elections robbery by President Bio, while the stakeholdets and moral guarantors were meeting with Dr. Samura Kamara, their flagbearer, who was widely believed to have won the 2023 elections.
Protesters turned up , surprising President Bio and his unruly and oppressive police . They carried placards demanding electoral justice and sang songs deciding Maada Bio for stealing the elections.

Heavily armed Police came later and fired teargas to disperse the protesters but the demonstrators had already made their compelling message that democracy must be restored and that Maada Bio is operating on a stolen mandate.
