The current electricity situation in Sierra Leone, especially in Freetown, remains very frustrating for citizens due to frequent and prolonged power outages.
Many communities experience unstable and unreliable supply, often caused by technical faults, damaged transformers, and weak infrastructure within the electricity network. In some areas, people go for hours or even days without electricity, affecting businesses, daily life, and essential services.
The problem is worsened by limited generation capacity, especially during the dry season, and ongoing load shedding due to high demand.

Overall, the situation continues to create hardship, slow economic activities, and increase the frustration of citizens who depend on stable electricity for their livelihoods.
