I came out of my Principal and other jobs with my head held high

For cowards “pulling hints “ on me. YES, I have not been named in any scandal before in all my life. The only problems people ever have with me are my extreme views , even from my FBC college days . My family and my children and colleagues in life know me for that. I am a man of extreme views and a pen warrior. I am proud of that.

I served as Principal of a Muslim school when money was flowing in from Saudi Arabia , Egypt, Kuwait and other Arab countries. The United Muslim Association trusted me so highly that I collected the cheques and cashed and banked the money. As a very young man, just out of college, if I had been corrupt, that is where I would have enriched myself. The old men heading the association were not Western- educated . I would have duped them.

I accounted for every penny. There was no complaint ever. When I was leaving, the President of the Muslim organization, Alhaji Noah Kemokai wept and he and his deputy, Pa Magona , begged me and promised me everything. But I had to leave. I was too young for the job and missing out on the enjoyments of a young man. My hope was built on enjoying my life as a young graduate of FBC, a great privilege in those days , and coming to the U. S, though my plan did not succeed then.

I have served in other big jobs—-Curriculum Specialist of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Liberia, appointed by President William R. Tolbert and the Minister of Education for Curriculum, Mrs. Doris Banks Henries ( the wife of the Chief Justice ) —-a UNESCO Project —but I left with my head held high.

I taught in the World Bank University of Liberia / Ministry of Education in – service teacher training program, at KRTTI — appointed by Education Minister Othello Gonger — and left with distinction . Where others were being arrested or fired for deals with CARE relief food supplies, I left without any scandal.

I served my country, Sierra Leone, in the lofty position of Minister Plenipotentiary and Coordinator of Africa Union’s C- 10 on UN Security Council Reform at the UN for 11 years . Again, I came out clean. More than anybody else, if President Maada Bio, Fatima Bio, Moinina Sengeh, Anti- Corruption Chief Ben Kelfala and my volume of enemies in the SLPP had had anything on me, they would have disgraced me more than anybody else , more than I could have endured ( After all I had written against Bio and the SLPP ? ) . They investigated everything but found nothing against me.

Why am I saying all this ? Because there are some corrupt idiots in America who want to hold against me my extreme views as a journalist. They fail to realize that everything I write is consistent with my profession as a journalist. Whether I serve the ruling government or the opposition, I am consistent in what I do. Whatever noise I make is for the betterment of my country. I never advocate for myself. I only advocate for my country. Whereas others promote themselves on Facebook or WhatsApp, I spend all my time promoting causes and other people. I am genuine in what I believe . Do you think if I wanted to sell out and join the SLPP, I would not have succeeded ? Think about it. SLPP would have benefited from my media services . But I am genuine. I will remain APC forever, even if we die in the opposition. I will never sell out on my APC. I am not like hypocrites who are APC when APC is in power and SLPP when APC loses power. I am APC today, tomorrow and forever.

So, let this stick in your numbskulls —-Those of you “pulling hints “ on me. Hint know e master. I am not like you. I practice what I preach and by the grace of God Almighty , as a follower of Jesus Christ, I will spend eternity with God, who looks at the heart. Nobody bribes me in the corner to attack Maada Bio and the SLPP . Nobody was bribing me when I was attacking the APC of Siaka Stevens .

Do you think if I wanted to work for the Shaki APC, I would have failed when my father worked for them and ministers , Shaki himself and S. I knew my family ? When S. I . Koroma came to like many of us who served in the FBC Students Union government and invited us to grace his self- help projects in Port Loko and his Rogbere Bana Agricultural project ? It was S.I who helped our executive members get lucrative jobs after we graduated from FBC.

I had relatives in the APC who were ministers and deputy ministers but I did not ask them for favors or jobs. Bella Fofana was my mother’s younger brother. I do what I genuinely believe is right. I supported Ernest Koroma at a time many people did not want to be identified with the APC and 10 or so years before EBK became President. My SLPP antagonists and APC faithfuls like Mankota, Sylvia Blyden , Foday Morris , Curtis Thomas and others know how we used to fight for the APC —and being verbally abused and threatened — for the APC since the late 1990s at the SLIS, NUP, Sierranet, Cocorioko and Leonenet forums . We Yone APC genuine. We did not join APC for personal benefits . If so, would I have been still suffering the verbal abuse and threats I have been receiving every single day since we lost power 8 years ago ? Even if the next APC Government fails to hire me, I will still be at the forefront promoting and defending it . I am not in this for the money .

So duya papa, make me noise nar Facebook stop for bother you. I will always stand for what I believe even if the majority say I am wrong. It is my beliefs and I am proud of them and stand by them . And I will not go to Hell for my beliefs. The only thing that will take me to Hell is if I reject Jesus Christ and it is not happening .
