Sierra Leoneans are wicked, they are bad, they are full of envy and evil. The attacks on social media on the Publisher of the COCORIOKO newspaper , Rev. Leeroy Wilfred Kabs-Kanu demonstrate this.
I have worked with the Reverend for over 20 years on Cocorioko and I find him a very intelligent, brilliant, good-hearted and kind man .
I was stunned when I read MY MAILS WITH KABS KANU, written by a former employee, Patrick Walsh, against the Reverend. Publishing confidential communication between him and the Reverend show that Mr. Patrick Walsh is not only a very immature and naive man but one who is very evil and vindictive and consumed by envy. Anybody who can behave like Patrick Walsh is inherently full of evil and should not be trusted for anything. Patrick Walsh accomplished nothing ; he only to prove that he is a man of very bad faith.
What is wrong if Kabs Kanu exchanged letters with him to boost his Cocorioko Forum and Cocorioko Newspaper ? They were not unlawful letters asking him to commit a crime or do anything evil. Kabs Kanu is a very honest man and will not ask anybody to perform evil. They were written by a trusted employer to his trusted employee about how to make his product better . Thank God there is no suggestion of evil in the communication.
Patrick Walsh may have rendered all those professional assistance to the Reverend but he did it at his own accord. He was not coersed . He wanted to be part of the famous and growing Cocorioko team.
I learnt that Patrick Walsh is angry with Rev. Kabs Kanu because he did not recommend him for a job with the APC Government when Kabs got appointed as Minister Plenipotentiary and Coordinator of the African Union Committee of 10 African States on UN Security Council Reform. I learnt from the Rev. that he really did recommend Mr. Walsh but what some of these envious and vindictive people don’t know is that President Koroma was overwhelmed by thousands , if not millions , of recommendations from ministers, deputy ministers, ambassadors, diplomats, directors, general managers etc. etc. etc. It did not mean that Kabs Kanu did not try to help Patrick Walsh. It was just that the President’s plate was full . Kabs Kanu did not have any power to employ anybody , and one expects the malicious Patrick Walsh to understand that. Why should he get mad with Kabs Kanu to the point of exposing confidential letters they exchanged?
Patrick Walsh just proved that he is a very dangerous , envious, vindictive, untrustworthy and evil man, who can kill , if he does not get what he wants.
