President Koroma arrives in Addis Ababa for the African Union Summit

 

His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone accompanied by his wife, First Lady Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma, has just arrived in Addis Ababa (Africa’s political and diplomatic capital) today (27th January, 2018) to attend and participate at the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State of the African Union.

President Koroma and his delegation were warmly received and welcomed at the Bole International Airport by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. AKlilu Hailemichael.

This year’s African Union Summit is holding under the theme: “Winning the Fight Against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation.”

Top on the African Union 2018 Summit agenda is the migrant issue in Libya, peace and security in the continent and the follow up report of the reform of the African Union.
