JULIUS MAADA BIO: YOUR IMAGE LAUNDERING REMAINS IRREPARABLY CONTAMINATED

Julius Maada Bio, it is imperative that you recognise the utter futility of your attempts to rehabilitate an irredeemably tarnished image through the Oxford African Student Union. Such superficial endeavours amount to nothing more than a reckless and prodigal waste of time and scarce national resources.

There remains only one decisive action with any realistic prospect of eliciting even marginal reconsideration from the international community: the immediate and unconditional implementation of the agreed transitional transfer of power to the legitimately elected winner of the 2023 presidential election, as unequivocally affirmed by the Tripartite Committee’s findings. This singular step would also pave the way for the extradition of Bolle Jos Leijdekkers, your son-in-law, thereby disrupting a sprawling narcotics trafficking network whose operations you have conspicuously failed to dismantle.

To the international community: the time has come to act decisively and remove the illegitimate President Julius Maada Bio from office.

We wish to draw the urgent attention of the global community to President Bio’s persistent and deliberate subversion of the international order, including its foremost moral guarantors: the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel – Unowas, Commonwealth, the African Union, and Ecowas – Cedeao. Having been rebuffed at the Africa Forward Summit in Kenya, and in the wake of the record-breaking seizure of approximately 40 metric tonnes of cocaine by Spain’s Guardia Civil — a consignment traced to Sierra Leone — he resorted to attending a paid programme in the United Kingdom. Despite a direct meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who urged him to prioritise genuine and sustained dialogue with these same international institutions to resolve Sierra Leone’s deepening political impasse, Julius Maada Bio has instead used drugs funds on image rehabilitation by purchasing a platform at the Oxford African Student Union event.

Julius Maada Bio, self-styled “Cocaine Chairman” of ECOWAS, stands credibly accused before the international community of complicity in narcotics trafficking. No amount of desperate image laundering will henceforth suffice to conceal these damning realities.

The Tripartite Committee’s report has irrefutably established that Dr. Samura M.W. Kamara is the legitimately elected President of Sierra Leone. The people of Sierra Leone await the restoration of our democracy and this essential intervention with profound urgency and expectation.
