So I see people are saying the Imam is not to be blamed here. The mosque 🕌 is a sacred place any form of divisiveness must not be entertained. Politicians should be recognized when they visit a mosque 🕌 or a church ⛪ I.e today in our midst we have the aspiring mayoral candidate of the SLPP, he is here to worship with us. A prayer can be made for him, and that should be it. Allowing them platforms to spew their hatred and malice all in the name of winning election should not be encouraged.
When tribal, regional, and religious rhetoric are used to win an election you are going to a divided nation after the election and your reign will have no peace.

Tbe places worship have must by default remain neutral and free to speak on social and welfare issues . They must never be platforms of politicking as they are in Sierra Leone.
Poverty is not only a material issue . It is a Jack of rational knowledge and thinking that brings poverty . So poverty is manifest here because in the first place imams and pastors must know their domain is not and must not be Platforms of politics .
However as tbe saying goes “ A people get the leaders they deserve according to how they think !”
Idiocy is part of the bigger challenge of a country that was once considered the place of learning in west Africa .
What and how we went wrong is what we must be looking at .
The less we talk and more we research to find out the
