The grant – āamended financing and grant agreements on the restructured Sierra Leone Health project for Ebola response.ā Was described as ātimelyā.
The signing ceremony took place Thursday August 14 at the World Bank Africa āJā building on 701 18th Street North West, Washington DC.
Deputy Chief of Mission Ambassador Ibrahim. S Conteh signed on behalf of the Sierra Leone Government, while Mr. Ato Brown World Bankās Country Manager signed for the World Bank.
According to Mr. Ato Brown, āthe grant is the first of a series of tranches to come in respect of the Ebola Pandemic.

Dr. Matthew W. Samura āKamara Sierra Leoneās Foreign and International Cooperation Minister had said in Washington DC USA during the just concluded United States āAfrica Leaders summit that the Government of Sierra Leone was experiencing a short fall in the budget that relates to the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by other staff of the World Bank and Miss Fatmatta Dao of the Embassy of Sierra Leone.
