The All People’s Congress Georgia Chapter Inaugural Fundraising Ball
The All People’s Congress Georgia Chapter, a West African base political party organized by Sierra Leoneans in Georgia to promote their party’s agenda while attracting direct foreign investment to their country for the benefit of social and economic development, will be hosting its inaugural fundraising ball on July 30, 2016 at the Jazzy J’s Event Hall, 5134 Old National Highway, College Park, GA 30349.
The event will be featured in three segments: the inauguration of the president elect and swearing of the executives for oath of office, a fundraiser, and ball dance starting from 8 pm until 4 am EST.
There will be a panel of notable and high power female speakers like Hon Isata Kabia, Deputy Minister of Finance and State, Hon Sylvia Olayinka Blyden, Minister of Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs, and the impeccable Hon Zainab Hawa Bangura, Under Secretary General of the United Nations will be the keynote speaker. She has been constantly fighting the cause for the battered and abused women, promoting laws to protect them, whilst constantly forcing world leaders in the UN to enact laws that would protect these women in their various countries. She will be speaking on the topic, Women’s Empowerment
The Honorary Consul, Cynthia Jarrett-Thorpe of the Sierra Leone Embassy and the Ambassador from the Republic of Sierra Leone to the United States, His Excellency Ambassador Bockarie Stevens will also be present at this event.
The Georgia chapter has been one of the most active chapters in the United States of America Diaspora since 2005, prior to the election of the party’s leader, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, who is currently the president of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
