Haters and Lovers of Late Controversial Journalist Philip Neville – Divisive in Death More Than in Life

The mysterious death last week of veteran journalist Mr Philip Neville has caused more divisive opinions than unity since his passing in Freetown.
One school of thought that invariably loved and admired and respected the late man has adduced that the late media guru was a fearless and patriotic journalist, whose ultimate ambition had always been to fight journalistically in the interests of Sierra Leoneans. The other school of thought that clearly loathed and disrespected the late journalist has differed by adducing that Mr Philip Neville was a cancerous, poisonous and a bastardised journalist who mischievously misused the media to attack innocent individuals and institutions for selfish gains. Attacks against Philip Neville of the Standard Times newspaper have been coming from all fronts, left, right and centre in Sierra Leone and abroad. Social media activist Adebayor based in Holland, who is a serious hater of Philip Neville, has blasted those who are now blasting the late man for doing so after his death. Adebayor (real name William Kamara) said: “I have always blasted Philip Neville for his dirty games when he was alive. I did it when he was alive and kicking. That was the right thing to do. Not when he is now dead, people are attacking his corpse. Those who are cursing Philip Neville now when he is dead are pure cowards. Why kick a man when he is down? Let alone when he is dead? That’s cowardice,” Adebayor opined.
When Philip Neville was accidentally or intentionally killed after a hit by a motorbike rider in Freetown last week, little did we know that his sudden death would be so controversial that even top politicians like Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay of the APC party would say that he is happy that Philip Neville is dead. Even politicians from the ruling SLPP government are secretly and openly delighted that Phil Neville has passed away. Incredible how Sierra Leoneans are vividly divided on Philip Neville, the owner of the Standard Times newspaper and the banned Star Radio. There are however many other citizens who adore the late media guru. But the haters are numerous and Dr Sylvia Blyden, the owner of the Awareness Times newspaper and APC politician has not hidden her overt hatred for Philip Neville for personal reasons. In the piece “PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD” – PART 1, mention was made of his ENABLERS in Political & Legal axis. Today, I see LIES that my issue with Neville was over a Year 2011 publication he did in favour of Maada Bio and which matter Neville lost in Court. THAT IS A DAMN LIE TO DRAW PRESIDENT BIO IN MORASS BUT MORE BELOW. Let me handle the 2011 case which Neville lost on 15 February 2012. (Photo: Sylvia Blyden).
1. That was not the case when I sued him. I took him to court in 2007 and my Lawyer was Sonkita Conteh Esq. (current head of NAMATI). The case was adjourned ceaselessly.
2. That 2011 Court Case was when my late Mum (Mrs. Sylvia E.J. Blyden) took Neville to Court after he wrote in his paper that, as a married wife she bore me for another man and not my father Babatunde Blyden. You see when PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD wanted to go after his victims, even their innocent relatives were not spared. My innocent Mother was drawn into his media war with me and she was maliciously slandered on his pages that she was promiscuous and so she got pregnant for another man and not her husband and so I am not the daughter of my Father. What was my Mother’s crime? NOTHING other being my Mother. Is that Journalism? The purveyors of Neville as a journalist should tell the World.
3. My mother’s lawyer was the late J.B. Jenkins Johnston Esq. and Jenkins Johnston easily won the case for her against PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD. See the Judgement Page attached to this write-up.
4. The Judge in the matter of my Mother (Sylvia E.J. Blyden) versus Philip Neville was Hon. Justice Adeliza Showers and the judge gave the following Orders in favour of my mother:
i) Neville to publish a Retraction & Apology THREE TIMES on the front pages of his newspaper.
ii) Neville to pay Punitive Damages to my Mother for accusing her as a married woman of being promiscuous in giving birth to me.
iii) A Permanent Injunction against Neville and Standard Times, all his journalists, his columnists, his agents and privies from ever writing any defamatory matter against my mother again or they will be in Contempt of Court and sent to Prison.
iv) Neville to additionally pay to my Mother the full cost of all the legal proceedings.
Now here is the interesting aspect. Neville’s Lawyer for that my mother’s Court Case was APC Strongman Sulaiman Kabba Koroma Esq. and as one of the ENABLERS of PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD, I think Sulaiman Kabba Koroma can explain to the country how his client PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD refused to obey those 4 Court Orders. Let Sulaiman Kabba Koroma come out and tell this country how his Client treated my Mother.
You see, contrary to the trash being peddled by the proteges of PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD, he merely briefly mentioned the name Maada Bio in that his 2011 Write-up about me. The article was not about Maada Bio. It was about an Excellence Award I had received as Best Publisher of the Best Newspaper of the Year which Neville has felt should have gone to Standard Times Newspaper. That was my only crime for which he went so MALICIOUSLY to extent of writing on his pages that my mother got pregnant by another Man and not her husband. CAN ANYONE IMAGINE ANYTHING MORE EVIL THAN THAT?? That man was a Bastard. He was not a good journalist. (Photo: Late Philip Neville controversial journalist).
My own 2007 Case for which my lawyer was Sonkita Conteh is still lying in Court. It was adjourned ceaselessly and never settled. So maybe I should ask Lawyer Sonkita Conteh to reactivate it against Standard Times Newspaper and I should ask the Courts to go after the Assets and Estates of Philip Neville since the 2007 case started when he was still alive and was never settled. Furthermore, as Administratrix for my Late Mother, I should also go after his Assets now and ask for a Freeze on his Bank Accounts and his various Properties until we get paid for DAMAGES already ordered by the Court.
Yes, since I have a 2007 civil case still lying in the courts and in which I asked for DAMAGES to be ordered against Philip Neville and his Standard Times, I can still file legal papers for garnishee. Yes, maybe I should do all this since his FOOLISH people are so emboldened to treat his VICTIMS with such callous levity! Let me reactivate the Cases and see if the cases will continue to be adjourned ceaselessly this time. I am no longer the naive 35 years old woman who was bullied at the Courts by ENABLERS of PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD!!!!!
Now, let me close as I started. If the ENABLERS amongst Lawyers, the Judiciary and the Political Class think they should continue to market Philip Neville as a great Journalist when he was just a CHEAP BLACKMAILING BASTARD owning a Media House that he used to TERRORIZE citizens whilst being ENABLED by Lawyers & Politicians then this is going to be a SERIES. We are now on Part 2. PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD was enabled by those who ought to know better than to sustain the EVIL that Neville launched into the society.
I have heard rumours of President Maada Bio Government being lobbied for one of the Local Councils to give a “Civic Funeral” to PHILIP NEVILLE THE BASTARD. Hmmmm. Well, I am poised and waiting to see if such a CALUMNY will happen. That is the time the purveyors of such a Honourable Funeral will understand me better. Ar day wait oh.
