Alpha Kanu explains benchmark system

As President Ernest Bai Koroma launches the Sierra Leone International Benchmark System (SLIBS) during the weekend, the special Adviser to the President and Ambassador at-large Hon. Amb. Dr. Alhaji Alpha Sahid Bakarr Kanu, gave a brief understanding of the (SLIBS).




The Sierra Leone International Benchmark System is equivalent to the Sierra Leone Examination Council (SLEC). This unit,  he said,  will now ensure that all data used in collating the brains from International Benchmarks with the source from relevant MDA’s, alliance with the Agenda for Prosperity and submitted to the examiner boss of the UN, Unicef, UNDP, IMF,AU, WORLD BANK, MO IBRAHIM etc. for judicious analyses and marking.

He further reiterated that President Koroma has setup this secretariat ( SLIBS) to monitor and create an oversight system for good governance.
