An ECOWAS -cum UN fact-finding team has arrived in Freetown to investigate the political situation and structures the SLPP Government is putting in place to rig next year’s elections.
Mr. Abdul Kargbo, the Secretary General of the APC interim committee, reported that the delegation met with stakeholders of the party.
Last week, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament deliberated on the political turmoil and unconstitutional activities of the SLPP government and President Maada Bio in Sierra Leone. ECOWAS MPs criticized the attempt by President Bio to use the Proportional Representation and BLOCK Voting systems which will give advantage to the ruling SLPP.
