Rajiv Prasad I served with Alex on the Planning Board when I was the Council Liaison for 5 years. Alex always brought a very unique perspective to the Board, especially when it came to Affordable Housing in Franklin. He always felt we should and could do more for lower income housing. He would cast the lone dissenting vote when it came to housing development applications, even when they met the minimum requirements. He always stood up for the low income residents of Franklin. He always demanded more for them. May his soul RIP. My prayers, condolences and sympathies to his family and the larger West African family of Franklin. We shared a common immigrant brotherhood of trying to establish ourselves in the land of opportunity. Stay safe and healthy. We shall overcome Covid-19 too, despite its heavy toll, especially on our West African brothers and sisters. We are all in it together and share your grief, sorrow and loss. May the Almighty Lord Comfort us all.

ALEX MANSARAY PASSES AWAY, AS APC AND COCORIOKO LOSE SECOND MEMBER TO CORONAVIRUS
Alex Mansaray, the larger-than-life political bastion has passed away. He was a leading member of the APC and Board member of the COCORIOKO Newspaper.
May God grant you eternal rest, LEXXO . I am very DEVASTATED and lost for words , but God knows best. I am still in disbelief and denial. This is a great loss. May God comfort us all.
Two weeks ago, another big tree in our community, Mr. Foday Mansaray, fell. He was another giant in the APC and a Board Member of COCORIOKO.
The deaths of the two individuals have sent ripples through the Sierra Leone and West community and our New Jersey community will never be the same again without these two fallen giants.
