As a result of the involvement of Lahai Lawrence Leeman in the killings of hundreds of innocent Sierra Leoneans at Pademba Roadย Prisons and during the August 10, 2022ย peaceful protest , as well asย many other human right violations, the public relations Officer for the ruling Sierra Leone Peopleโs Party (SLPP),ย who was very active in bring the SLPP intoย governance inย 2018 hasย been kicked out of the 2023 election campaign team.
ALLIE KABBA : RUF REBEL AND UN MISSION EMBEZZLEMENT SUSPECT
The SLPP is well aware thatย Lahai Lawrence Leema in the past four years as a Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs led secret SLPP death squads going around at night, secretly abducting and killing innocent youths suspected of participating in the August 10thย demonstrations. According to the reports, the Leema-led death squad is composed of soldiers and police loyal to Sierra Leoneโs President Maada Bio.
According to senior party members, they strongly advised that Leema should take the back seat because of his name being mentioned in many atrocities , more especially the death squad allegedly led by him,ย the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, who was cashiered from the Sierra Leone Army during the APC era.
The Party has also noticed that of late Lahai Lawrence Leema has become so weak , confused and frustrated as we are getting close to the 2023 General Elections.
Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad areย asking for the whereabouts of Alie Kabba who was the SLPP 2018 Campaign Chairman.
Dr. Alie Kabba was the founder and architect of the notorious RUF rebels. There is evidenceย that suggests his involvement in Sierra Leoneโs brutal civil war between (1991 โ 2002) that held our nation back, oppressed our people and obscure the future of majority of our youth.
Mrย Alie Kabba , who was also the Minister of Foreign Affairs is responsible for the incompletion of the New York chancery.ย Llead investigator, Joseph Bockarie Noah of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday 15 March 2022 stated before Justice Adrian Fisher at the High Court that the sum of $1M was paid through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part payment for the chancery building in New York. Alie Kabba was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at that time who also received $ 2 million dollars in his private account.
Noah went on to state that Paul Minah, Director General and Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave private account to the Chinese to pay the sum of $1M into that account belonging to a
company name Etic Sal, reported to be owned by Alie Kabaโs Sister .
As the whole public now aware now,ย Alie Kabba is the real thief of the $ 4.9 million dollars spent on the Chancery. Theย SLPP stakeholders also advised that Mr. Alie Kabba should take the back seat because as a party, they strongly believe that, involving Dr Alie Kabba and Lahai Lawrence Leeman will createย very big problems for the party in the upcoming general elections as a result of their very bad images and potential ICC indictment.
