COCORIOKO has just learnt that the U.S. Government has put on hold the Millennium Challenge Corporation ( MCC) Compact award won by Sierra Leone.
According to our diplomatic sources, a letter from the MCC has been delivered to Ambassador Sidique Wai at the Sierra Leone Embassy in Washington DC informing him of the action , taken by the U.S. because President Bio rigged the June 24, 2023 presidential elections.
