Fullah Community Congratulates Hon. ‘Chericoco’, Endorses APC

A cross section of the Fullah Community in Freetown, accompanied by the Western Area Fullah Tribal Head Alhaji Sarjor Jalloh, yesterday congratulated and endorsed Hon. Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah, aka Chericoco, as Vice Presidential Candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC) at his Regent Village residence in Freetown.
The group was unequivocal in its appreciation and endorsement of the APC party. The group’s spokesperson noted that, “we have finally realized that the APC party loves and respects Fullahs in Sierra Leone. From the late President Siaka Stevens who married a Fullah woman, Binta Stevens, to Ernest Bai Koroma whose first nominee for Running Mate in 2007 was a Fullah; the 2018 and 2023 Running Mate Hon. Chericoco, and recently a Fullah Deputy National Secretary General in the person of Hon. Abdulai Timbo…”
The Fullah tribal spokesperson also explained that it was the APC which had the highest number of Parliamentarians of Fullah extraction, all pointing to the fact that the APC party was far more complimentary of the Fullah Community than any political party in Sierra Leone.
Other members of the Fullah delegation included the Deputy Western Area Tribal Head Alhaji Mohamed Lamrana Sowe; Alhaji Hamdallaya Barrie; Alhaji Borbor Koindu Bah; Hon. MA Jalloh; Alhaji Demba Barrie; Alhaji Umaru Monoma, and Alhaji Sarjoh Pottal.
