His obfuscations of helping SLPP transform the country is not only bogus, but disingenuous of him. He has cut himself a deal with The Devil by ditching his party. I do hope he would not end up in a Catch 22 situation. So all the fanfare in 2018 was all about having a slice of the pie.
I wonder what will become of KKY if Bio loses the presidency. He might want to come up with some other sound bites.
Integrity is badly missing in KKY’s résumé. After all he was never the GBASSAY to ALHASSAN and ALUSINE. How can a man of supposed moral rectitude and distinguished scholarship be lured to doom by a ne’er-do-well as Maada Bio?
Sierra Leone has lost the “breed of noble blood”. KKY alongside Victor Foh,and Alpha Khan would go down in the annals of Sierra Leone as people of questionable repute and integrity. Little wonder “watermelon politics” is the latest trend in the polity of our dear country.
I do hope 24/06/2024 would turn out to be a watershed in Sierra Leone’s political landscape.

Jeneba don’t mind them ! Corruption is a culture for most Sierra Leoneans and is why a country with a potential to be the richest in Africa if not on earth is in abject poverty and its children are scattered all over the earth doing slave labour in other people’s lands .
For most of them defending that mentality of abject corruption when they are in the Diaspora it is all about wanting you be recognised to be part of an institution of corruption .
In other countries the intellectual class and diaspora are engines of development .
For Sierra Leone elite class , comprising diaspora d d home based intellectuals , are the curse . That is why whenever someone does a critical analysis they come with these corrupted minds to criticise . Countries like Somaliland are developing with zero debt from the international community because the diaspora funds every project . We have a Diaspora of misguided thieves who only seek to connive with an equally misguided elite class back home to rip off the country .
Thanks Ms. Jeneba Sesay. You have said it all. The type of leadership KKY represents is exactly the leadership that has brought SL to its present state of extreme backwardness. But the blame is not all his. I blame all those who rushed blindly to his support and sang his praises blindly.
