The vibrant community of Malal Mara Chiefdom, based in Rochin, Tonkolili District, is stepping into a fresh chapter of traditional leadership with the election and installation of their new Paramount Chief, Momodu Sheku Kamara, affectionately known as Bailal N’soila III.

This esteemed agriculturalist triumphed in the Paramount Chieftaincy election held in October 2024, winning the trust and backing of the Chiefdom’s leaders, traditional figures, and local residents. After his election, he underwent the necessary government orientation and traditional rites before being officially installed as the new Paramount Chief.
