There’s massive voter registration fraud going on right now in Sierra Leone.
The Electoral Commission is helping the ruling SLPP register thousands of deceased and underaged in their strongholds, while hampering effective registration in opposition strongholds and other areas.
If this isn’t checked, the 2023 elections will be the greatest vote heist in our nation’s history, and that will lead to widespread unrest and turmoil, I fear.
Voter Registration started on 3rd September in Sierra Leone and is scheduled to last until 4th October. However, the process has not been smooth. There have been many logistical, system, and procedural issues, challenges, and frustration encountered across the country, but predominantly in the main opposition strongholds.
Are these issues encountered minor process setbacks or a deliberate voter suppression technic of the President Bio Administration?

Despite the sad experiences that tens of thousands of potential voters faced in the last few days, the people are ready and determined to remove President Bio in 2023.
Fatima bio once said that if Bio loses the 2023 elections, let 50 strong men rape her publicly. Well, NEC is SLPP’s last hope.
Fatima bio made that statement because Bio has staffed NEC with Mende SLPP personnel who introduced the most immoral and unethical conditions that will deprive voters from the north/west from participating in choosing the next President, the next parliamentarians, and local leaders in Sierra Leone.
15 of the 16 district NEC leaders are all mendes. So, only one person out of the 16 electoral heads not Mende by tribe.
Sierra Leone is heading to a dangerous path.
The fact is there are more voters in the north/west of the country than in the south/east. More than 70% of the people of Sierra Leone reside in the north/west of the country. This circumstance is obviously a problem for the SLPP, which has never won genuine national elections in the history of Sierra Leone.
Knowing that he will be defeated in the next elections, the SLPP Mende administration introduced the strategies that will deprive people in the north/east of the country from registering to vote in 2023.
Please don’t give. Bio is worried of loosing in 2023.
WHY SHOULD ELDERLY AND SICK MEN AND WOMEN HAVE TO QUEUE FOR UP TO 12 HOURS FOR VOTER’S REGISTRATION?!
The problems facing registrants must be addressed in plain and simple term to avoid deteriorating situation!
From the complaints we have been receiving such as: queuing from early morning of 4 AM TO 5 PM on a daily basis for the 3rd day consecutively without being registered, every rightful minded person could be frustrated!
Its is there important to note, the ongoing registration does not need all the long queues of elderly sick men and women to spend such long hours on a daily basis. More importantly, most of the registration centers lack toilet facilities! Food and water are unreachable!
It’s is absolutely important as well for people to use a second thought not to storm the centers in huge numbers that could end the registration of only tens and not hundreds per day.
Surely, the Social media could play positive role in informing people on when a particular centers are less crowded for people to go there. We should minimise the suffering of our people!

I HAVE SAID IT TÍME AND TIME AGAIN THAT IT IS A GAME PLAN BY THE RULLING PARTY TO FRUSTRATE THE PEOPLE OUT SIDE THEIR STRONG HOLDS USING TIME, POOR MACHINES,HUMAN ÉLEMENT AS FACTORS TO SUBSTANCIATE FABRICATED MIDTERM CENSUS RESULTS. THE OPPOSITION SHOULD TAKE EVERY INCH OF ALL ANOMALIES AND REPORT TO ECSL INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY.
THE FREETOWN MAYOR’S COMPLAINTS
Today is the first day of voter registration! I visited the Lumley Mafa Field registration center with HE Lisa Chesney, the British High Commissioner. We observed the ongoing registration process and spoke to residents waiting to register. As at 12 noon when we were there, only 13 people had been registered at the center. According to the ECSL staff, the delay was caused by the fact that the laptop’s battery was not charged. Many residents in the queue explained that they had been at the center since before 7am.
THE MAYOR AND THE BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER
I am hopeful that today’s slow pace reflects “first day teething problems” and that the pace will pick up considerably after today! I am concerned that it seems that residents without NCRA registration cannot register directly with ECSL, they have to go the NCRA desk first and there are reports from many centres that the NCRA machines are freezing.… I encouraged residents in the queue to be patient and to persevere – registration is our duty and our right!
