The Commissioners and Staff of the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) wish to inform the eleven Registered Political Parties and the public of the death of the Chairman, Hon Justice. M.E. Tolla Thompson who passed away on Monday 26th September, 2016.
The Commission expresses our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and the people of Sierra Leone.
Hon Justice Tolla Thompson before his death served the Judiciary for over forty years before he was appointed by H.E. Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma as Chairman of the PPRC in 2012.
Funeral Service arrangement will be announced later.
A book of condolence will be opened at the Commissions headquarters OAU Drive Tower Hill, Freetown on Tuesday 27th September 2016 at 1pm.

The Chairman of the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC), Hon. Justice M. E. Tolla-Thompson has passed on. He died few hours ago in Freetown., family sources have confirmed.
Justice Tolla-Thompson also served as President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) from 1996 – 2004.
Under his Presidency, his executive was able to construct the current SLFA Secretariat at Kingtom and also qualified the national Under-17 team to the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament in Finland.
