Stunner :The U.S Government is unfairly tough on Liberia where democracy is prevailing , with less corruption but soft on Sierra Leone with an Ali Baba , the thief, as President , out-of- control corruption, elections thieving, tribalism and extrajudicial killings.
Now, the U.S Ambassador in Sierra Leone has become President Bio’s errand boy, traveling with him to America to beg Congress to give him the MCC money. Isn’t this a shame . Do you hear him talking anymore? A once eloquent Ambassador , winning praises for talking for the people, has suddenly lost his steam and supporting a wicked, heartless and an incorrigible President like Maada Bio .
What America is doing with its double standards, duplicity and favoring despotic leaders over good ones, is responsible for all the wars and conflict in the world. American foreign policy is hogwash. And America has been doing this since time immemorial.
We know what Bio is busy doing. He is sqeezing our diamonds and gold into the mouths of foreign diplomats and stuffing their briefcases with millions of dollars from the depleting Consolidated Fund. They think we do not know, but we are making records of all these events for tomorrow.
Judgement Day will come one day and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Let President Bio continue buying foreign diplomats. E go meet am nar in breakfast table. He will never go free , however useless the opposition, civil society, media, intelligentsia, religious council, military etc.
One day, the people of Sierra Leone, from whom power springs, will say enough is enough.
Bio is the most wasteful President in the history of our country. And now, he is trying to cover the holes he has created in the economy by taking IMF loans that will only overburden future governments and generations with debts. Sierra Leone’s foreign debts now stand at a whooping U.S $ 3 billion. And Bio is taking more debts while our people continue to languish in squalor and want.
God did not curse Sierra Leone. It is our leaders and many of our citizens that are cursed.But the Day of Judgement is coming as it did in other countries. Nothing lasts forever.
